What are your swimming lesson fees?
Your very first lesson with Nereids Aquatic Coaching is FREE trial! It will be included in the price, only if you will be satisfied and you are willing to continue your lessons with us. Rates vary, depending on the number of students per swimming lesson, travel distance, qualifications and experience of swimming instructor
How many individuals can take part in a swimming lesson?
You have the option of bringing up to 4 people of a similar swimming level to the lesson.
At what age can you teach my child to swim?
We offer lesson for babies from the age of 6 months and would stress that, for children under 2, your swimming pool is heated.
What happens if it is too cold to swim?
Parents, not we, are responsible for determining what temperature is too cold for their child to swim in and we will not assume a lesson will not take place because of cold or wet weather. However, do please bear in mind that we require a notice period of at least 24 hours in order for a make-up lesson to be valid.
What happens if my child is sick?
Please cancel any appointed lessons if your child is suffering from a contagious disease, influenza (flu), fever, runny nose, sore throat, cold sores and open wounds, vomiting, diarrhea, gastroenteritis, head lice or ringworm. We would request that you give us a notice period of at least 12 hours in order for a make-up lesson to be valid.
What qualifications do Nereids Swimming Instructors have?
All Nereids Swimming School Instructors are Accredited AUSTSWIM Teachers with valid CPR and First Aid Certificates and Working with Children, Police and Safeguarding Children Checks.
If my family has private health insurance, can I make a claim on my/my child’s swimming lessons?
We are registered with Swim Australia. As a result, if your/your child’s swimming lessons are recognized by your health insurance cover, then you are entitled to claim back some of the costs.
Do swimming lessons take place only in summer?
As most of our swimming lessons take place in outdoor pools, the majority of them occur between October and April, but heated or indoor pools can prolong this period.
Can you deliver lessons in a public pool?
External swim school are not allowed to deliver lessons in public pools due to conflict of interest. Mostly our lessons are delivered in residential pools. Alternatively, we can deliver swimming lesson in ocean rock pools around Sydney.
