AUSTSWIM is Australia’s national organisation for the teaching of Swimming and Water Safety. The AUSTSWIM accreditation is the industry standard for Swimming and Water Safety Teachers and recognized in every Australian state and territory as well as in many countries abroad.
Swim Australia
Aiming at the promotion of learning to swim and with an enduring emphasis on safety and the health and fitness benefits of swimming, Swim Australia delivers products and services for Swim Schools and facilitates the development of programs for swimming teaching. Swim Australia is approved by Swimming Australia Ltd (SAL) and the Federal Government’s Active Australia.
The Australian Swimming Coaches and Teachers Association (ASCTA)
The Australian Swimming Coaches and Teachers Association is the main body for Australian Swimming Coaches and Teachers. A not-for-profit organisation, the ASCTA develops world-leading practices in the training, accreditation and professional growth of Swimming Coaches and Swimming and Water Safety Teachers. With members in every corner of the world, the ASCTA is affiliated with the World Swimming Coaches Association and the International Federation of Swimming Teachers Associations.
Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS)
Dedicated to reducing drowning and supporting the development of healthy communities, the Royal Life Saving Society - Australia aims at providing Australians with water safety skills, transforming everyday people into community lifesavers. The Royal Life Saving Society was established in England in 1891, with the first Australian Branch founded in New South Wales in 1894. An Australian leader in water safety education, Royal Life Saving provides over one million Australians with a Royal Life Saving course or program per annum.
